                Catalog Changes in Industrial and Engineering Management





        Effective Date:  Fall 1990



        1.  ENGR 100 Introduction to Engineering (1) is structured to

        specifically support the NCSU 2+2 program.  Since Industrial and

        Engineering Management majors remain at UNCA, the course does not meet

        their needs.  



        2.  The impact on the 2+2 Engineering Program will be the loss of three

        to eight students per year in ENGR 100.  







        PROPOSED CATALOG CHANGES 



        On page 161 make the following changes;  



        1.  Change "This program requires a total of 131 semester hours, as

        specified below:" to This program requires a total of 130 semester

        hours, as specified below:  



        2.  Change "II.  Required courses outside the major 53 hours as follows:
