College Skills proposal:

Catalog page 42 (effective for the Fall of 1986)

Delete the next to last sentence.  Replace it with:
"College Skills courses count in determining the student's 
enrollment status, are part of the student's record, and contribute 
to the student's GPA but do not count as part of the 120 hours 
required for graduation."

Such courses include:

Education 101 - Study Skills
Education 102 - Vocab. and Reading Comp.
Composition 100 - Basic Writing Skills
Math 102 - Basic Math I
Math 103 - Basic Math II
Math 104 - Basic Math I & II
Math 105 - Intermediate Algebra (previously 162)
