                 CORRECTION IN LISTING OF COURSES FOR TRACK C (ENERGY

                    SYSTEMS) OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES PROGRAM







           REQUEST:



           Add the course ES 231, Energy and Environment*, to the required

           course list for Track C of the Environmental Studies program.



           RATIONALE:



           APC Document #47 (81-82) was the document, approved by the

           Senate, which set the course requirements for the four tracks of

           the Environmental Studies program.  It was discovered, after the

           document had passed the Senate, that a course designed for the

           energy track, ES 231 Energy and Environment, was omitted from

           the list of required courses for that track.



           The addition of this three hour course will bring the number of

           required semester hours in the energy track up to what it is in

           the ecology track.
