to Establish the Campus Commission on the Allocation of Student Services Funds
as a Standing Committee (Faculty Handbook 10.4.2)

Campus Commission on the
Allocation of Student Services Funds
Purpose
The committee is
responsible for the allocation of student services funds for the purpose of
programming sponsored by student organizations.
In addition, it is responsible for the accountability of the utilization
of these funds.
Membership
·
Four
faculty who are either self-nominated or appointed by
the Provost. Each faculty member serves two-year staggered terms.
·
The
Director of Student Activities or designee (ex
officio, non-voting).
·
At
least six students jointly appointed by the SGA and the Director of Student
Activities or designee. Each student will serve a one-year term and can be
continuously reappointed as long as they are a full time-student.

Provost and the
Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs
Rationale
Although
this Committee has been operating for a number of years, an associated Senate
document has never been passed. Two faculty will serve
from 2006 -2007 and two faculty will serve from 2006 – 2008. This document will
make this Committee an official Standing Committee of the Faculty.
