Statement of Faculty Senate Action:

APC Document 25:         Deletion of the First Year Experience Prefix

Effective Date:   Fall semester 2004

Delete:    pg 110 All of the section titled "First-Year Experience (FYE)", including the title, description, and course.

Rationale: Since the Liberal Studies Introductory Colloquium incorporates First Year components into a required freshman and transfer colloquia program, there will no longer be courses with the prefix FYE.
