Impact:
There will be no impact on the resources
and staffing of the MMAS department due to this change. No new lab equipment or
space will be needed.
Rationale:
This course is the foundation history
course for the major. Students should take this course before taking MMAS 322,
New Media Art and Design II in order to have the proper grounding in the
discipline. The current course number, MMAS 342, communicates to the students
that it is a junior or senior level course.
