APC Document 54: Change AP credit for U.S. History

Effective Date: Fall 2010

1. Delete: On page 32, under History:

United States 4, 5 3 HIST 102

Add: On page 32, in place of deleted entry:

United States 4, 5 3 HIST 101

Impact:

No real impact for students. They will still get 3 hours credit in a course that is required for History majors.

Rationale:

History 101 is a closer match to the material covered in the AP history classes than History 102.
