Impact:

There will be no impact to the resources or staffing of the affected departments due to these changes since the courses are already offered by the departments. Cross listing the courses as RELS courses will have a positive impact on the Religious Studies program since it will expand the number of courses offered under the RELS rubric for the benefit of Religious Studies majors and minors without the addition of faculty.

 

Rationale:

These courses are appropriate as electives for both the major and minor in Religious Studies. Cross listing will prevent the needless duplication of courses or faculty.
