APC Document 37: Editorial changes resulting from curriculum

changes in Mass Communication

Effective Date: Fall 2009

1. Delete: On pg.199, under Mass Communication Major Requirements, in item IV, last sentence:

Oral competency is demonstrated through successful completion of MCOM 421, VMP

493 or MCOM 499, depending on chosen concentration.

Add: On pg. 199, in place of deleted entry:

Oral competency is demonstrated through successful completion of MCOM 421, MCOM 498 or VMP 493, depending on chosen concentration.

2. Delete: On pg. 199, under Concentration in Commercial Media:

4 hours from MCOM 421, VMP 493, or MCOM 499;

Add: On pg. 199, in place of deleted entry:

4 hours from MCOM 421, MCOM 498 or VMP 493;

Impact:

None.

Rationale

Replacing MCOM 499 with 498 necessitates this editorial change.
