     Sense of the Senate

       
               To honor his long and distinguished service to the
     
               University of North Carolina at Asheville and its

               liberal arts mission, the Faculty Senate encourages

               the Chancellor to name the new classroom being

               constructed in Ramsey Library in honor of Mel

               Blowers with ceremony commensurate with his many       

               contributions.
