Every year. Impact Statement: These changes should not affect major, minor, and University requirements. The major impact will be that students will have a clearer statement of both what courses are actually offered when and what is involved in the course. Rationale: The increase in Spanish majors necessitates more frequent offerings of individual courses, and current staffing allows for more courses in Spanish-American literature than indicated by the catalogue. In reference to 325, both students and faculty have repeatedly expressed the need for an upper level course devoted primarily to conversation.
