Delete: from the listing of the required courses for a major in sociology on page 198, Part I, the reference to "Soc 210." the reference to Soc 210 as a prerequisite to the following course listings Soc 225 (on Page 199) Soc 302 (on Page 200) Soc 356 (on Page 202) Soc 420 (on Page 202) Soc 450 (on Page 202). Change: in Part I on page 198 the reference to elective hours from "12" to "15." Delete: on page 201 in the course description for Soc 355, in the last line the words "Prerequisites: SOC 100 and either 210 or 215." Replace the deleted words with the following... Prerequisite: Soc 100. Impact Statement: Enrollments in the course will probably remain steady as Sociology 210 is a social science general education elective. Soc 210 will still be offered on a regular basis. Rationale: The deletion of Sociology 210 from the major requirements will allow sociology majors more choice of electives within the major.
