Impact: No impact. Rationale: DRAM 112 Introduction to Acting II is already required of all majors in all four tracks. Use of the voice as an instrument, projection, articulation and the ability to speak effectively are fundamental acting techniques explored through exercises, improvisations and scene study in this course. Successful completion of the course will require demonstration of oral competency. This course is taken by most majors in the freshman or sophomore year so if a problem with a student's oral skills is discovered as part of the course, there will be time to work with the student during the junior and senior year to improve oral skills.
