No major, minor, department, or program will be affected. Students will have an additional opportunity to fulfill the arts laboratory requirement. Rationale: Since Senate has approved a request to include "Jazz Styles", HF 171 (special topics offering), as an option for fulfilling the Arts Lab requirement, this course should be assigned a Health and Fitness course number rather than a special topics number and be listed in the Health and Fitness General Education Requirements section of the catalog.
