Statement of Faculty Senate Action:   

              Senate Resolution #2:  Commendation 

     The Faculty Senate commends and thanks University 
Librarian Mel Blowers for his tireless efforts in designing 
and coordinating the library construction project.

     We also extend our sincerest appreciation to the many 
people on the library staff for their outstanding efforts to
maintain the highest quality service during the difficult
construction an transition periods.

     When it is completed, Ramsey Library will serve as a 
fitting symbol of UNCA's commitment to learning.  It will also
recognize the excellence and dedication which characterize the
efforts of Mr. Blowers and the entire library staff.
