        317  History of American Business (3)

             A survey of the interrelated social, political, and economic

        forces and of the business leaders who have contributed to the rise

        and development of major financial, commercial, manufacturing, and

        transportation industries in the US.  





        A.  Impact Statement 



             1.  The History Department will need to develop one new

        course, Hist. 317, History of American Business.  Current staff is

        prepared to teach the course.
