        Effective date:  Fall 1989





           On page 149 add the following course and course description:



           495 Directed Research (1-6)



                 Original investigation of a research problem in

                 management related topics.  Students will be introduced

                 to basic research methodology, experimental design,

                 data collection and analysis and report preparation.

                 Credit hours will be awarded based upon the extent of

                 the project. Prerequisite:  senior standing, permission

                 of the department chair and a sponsoring department

                 faculty member.
