Our quality goals are based on the SAT as a measure of academic aptitude, and high school percentile rank as a measure of motivation to pursue college work. By 1995, we should increase our average freshmen SAT to 1,000; have 50 percent of these students in the top quintile of their graduating class; and have a total undergraduate headcount enrollment of 3,800. These _____ ________ quality targets should have equal priority to the enrollment goals. The yearly targets are not intended to be rigid, but are provided as a guide to assessing suitable progress towards the Page 2 1995 goals. The Admissions Office will be asked to provide an annual report on progress towards achieving quality growth.
