will read:
MATH 155 Nature of Mathematics (4)
Number patterns and inductive reasoning; sets, logic
and deductive reasoning; introduction to mathematical
modeling using concepts of algebra, geometry, counting,
and probability. Prerequisite: Math 104 or satisfactory
performance on the mathematics placement exam.
3. Delete the prerequisites from MATH 157 so that it
will read:
MATH 157 Structures of Mathematics I (3)

read:
MATH 191 Calculus I (4)
An introduction to limits, continuity, derivatives,
and integrals, with emphasis on the calculus of
polynomial, rational, and algebraic functions; a
balanced presentation of the theory and application
of differential and integral calculus. Prerequisites:
163, 164 or, four years of high school mathematics
including algebra, geometry and trigonometry and
satisfactory performance on the mathematics placement
exam.
5. Change the prerequisites to MATH 266 so that it will
read.
