The Academic Policies Committee recommends that UNCA continue the practice of 
scheduling a period for final examinations at the end of each semester
as described on page 34 of the Catalog.



Rationale:

The current final examination period is an experiment.  Passage of this
document acknowledges that we wish final examinations to continue.  Of course
the details of scheduling the examinations remain open to further refinement
and revision.
