The Academic Policies Committee recommends the following change in the course 
description for MGMT 490:


New Description:

A semester long internship with a participating host organization in the 
Western Carolina area is scheduled for each management major in the senior 
year.  A minimum grade point average overall and in the major of 2.0 is 
required to enroll in this course.  Specific information is available from the 
Director of the Internship Program.  Prerequisite:  480.


Rationale:

This description offers the student more specific and complete information and 
indicates that there are minimum acceptable academic standards involved in the 
program.
