1981-1982 Senate Document #62 APC Document #54 CHEMISTRY MINOR Add to the program description on page 65 of the 1981-82 catalog: MINOR IN CHEMISTRY Students wishing to complete an academic minor in chemistry may do so in each of the following areas by completing the listed prescribed courses: Analytical Chemistry Minor: Chem 141, 142, 221, 223, 224, 231, and 6 s.h. selected from 300-400 level chemistry courses. Inorganic Chemistry Minor: Chem 141, 142, 223, 231, 232, 321, 331, and 421. Chem 331 requires a prerequisite of six hours of mathematics and only students who have the prerequisite can choose this minor. Organic Chemistry Minor: Chem 141, 142, 341, 342, and 441. This minor is designed for physics and mathematics majors who will have the necessary prerequisites for CH341, CH342, and CH441 and only students who have these prerequisites can choose this minor.
