                        Senate Resolution #10



In view of the Faculty Welfare Committee's findings on the
discrepancy between the local interpretation of the 1979-80 travel
freeze and the interpretation of other UNC campuses, be it resolved
that a policy of retroactive reimbursement be implemented for persons
having taken an active role at professional meetings during 1979-80.
Guidelines for the reimbursement should be arrived at jointly by the
Faculty Welfare Committee and the administration.
