SENATE DOCUMENT #21 APC Document #17 The Academic Policies Committee recommends to the Faculty Senate adoption of the following recommendation: In 1973-74 the Department of Biology dropped Biology 333 (Vertebrate Zoology, 4 hr.), a semester course, and substituted two term courses, Biology 329 (Vertebrate Zoology I, The Anamniotes) and Biology 330 (Vertebrate Zoology II, The Amniotes), each three hours credit. Now that we are going to a strict semester schedule, we need to delete the term courses. DELETE, page 83 of Catalog: Biology 329 and Biology 330 and descriptions. ADD: Biology 333 Vertebrate Zoology (4) A study of the comparative morphology, taxonomy, zoogeography, and ecology of the vertebrate animals. Emphasis is placed on evolution of the vertebrates and the adaptive mechanisms which fit them to their environment. Students who have completed Biology 329 and/or Biology 330 may not receive credit for this course. (Passed by Faculty Senate 2/15/80)
