SENATE DOCUMENT #16 APC Document #13 The Academic Policies Committee recommends to the Faculty Senate the approval of the following catalog addition for the Economics Department: ADD: Economics 430 Collective Bargaining A course designed to introduce the student to the concepts of collective bargaining. The objectives, needs, and strategies of both labor and management will be examined. The course will focus on the negotiation, administration, and interpretation of the labor contract. Rationale: This course is being added in response to student demand and a formal request from the management department. Current faculty resources exist to provide instructional support (Mr. Lawson). The course was offered as a Special Topic during the Fall Semester, 1979. Enrollent was 13. (Passed by Faculty Senate 12/12/79)
