Those students found to be ineligible for graduation because their
GPAs on courses attempted at UNC-A since August, 1978 were below
2.0 should be considered eligible for graduation if their GPAs on
total courses attempted at UNC-A were 2.0 or better.


Rationale:  
	Students should not be penalized as a result of a policy
change that is implemented during the course of their enrollment.
For example, the current policy prevents a student from graduating
if he/she had a 2.8 GPA on 114 hours attempted prior to August, 1978,
but had a 1.5 GPA on 6 credits attempted since August, 1978.
