Impact:

The MLA program does not foresee any impact from this change on program or university requirements. No concurrences are required.

 

Rationale:

In the programís curriculum revision of last year, MLA 610 was changed from a variable credit to a fixed credit course. This has reduced flexibility for both students and faculty in a way that is already creating difficulties. The variable credit option will allow students and faculty to more easily arrange strategic use of the tutorial course in preparing for the MLA project.
