Statement of Faculty Senate Action:

APC Document 20:   Delete ECON 210 as an elective for the financial accounting concentration.

Effective Date: Fall 2003

Delete: On page 155, under Financial Accounting Concentration

Required courses: ACCT 416, 417 418, 447; and three courses to be selected from ACCT 319, 330; ECON 210, 306; LANG 351 or MCOM 269; MGMT 460.

Add: On page 155, in place of deleted entry:

Required courses: ACCT 416, 417, 418, 447; and three courses to be selected from ACCT 319, 330; ECON 306; LANG 351 or MCOM 269; MGMT 460.

Impact Statement:
This change has no impact on the department's majors or minors, the university's requirements, other departments, or future department course offerings.

Rationale:
This deletion of ECON 210 as an elective for the financial accounting concentration is based upon a request from the Economics department to delete this course. Accountancy faculty concurred with the request.
