page 166, in the course description for HIST
250, before
“Fall and Spring”:
This
course is intended for History majors and minors. Prerequisite: permission of
instructor.
Impact
Statement:
No impact on faculty teaching loads. Students will now
need instructor permission to register.
Rationale:
Because this course concentrates on historical research
methodology, it is specifically for History majors or History minors. Requiring
instructor’s permission will prevent non-history majors from registering for a
course that is inappropriate for them.
