1. Add: On page 69, HIST
309 and 391 to the list of elective options, in the proper numerical order:
309 History of the “Old South” (3)
391 The
History of the Atlantic World, 1492-1820 (3)
Impact
Statement:
Because these courses have been taught before, there will
be no impact to staffing loads. Students will benefit from the listing of these
courses as AFST electives.
Rationale:
These courses deal extensively with African/African
American experiences and therefore would fit well with existing AFST electives.
