1.  Delete:           On page 245, the entry under Minor in Psychology:

                Students seeking a Minor in Psychology must obtain a signed Declaration of Minor form from the chair of the Psychology Department.  A minor in Psychology consists of 19 hours in Psychology including:

                                      I.      PSYC 100 and 201;

                                    II.      either PSYC 200, 216, or 225 for the 3-credit non-laboratory course requirement;

                                  III.      either PSYC 317 or 332 for the 4-credit laboratory course requirement;

                                  IV.      six additional PSYC hours at the 300-400 level.

                Add:      On page 245, in place of deleted entry:

                Students seeking a Minor in Psychology must obtain a signed Declaration of Minor form from the chair of the Psychology Department.  A minor in Psychology consists of 19 hours in Psychology including:

                                      I.      PSYC 100 and 201;

                                    II.      One course from PSYC 200, 208, 214, 216, or 290 for the 3-credit-hour non-laboratory course requirement;

                                  III.      One course from PSYC 329, 332, 334, 342, 362, or 366 for the 4-credit-hour laboratory course:

                                  IV.      Six additional hours of non-laboratory courses at the 300-400 level.

Impact:

Minimal. Students will have more courses from which to choose to complete the minor.

Rationale:

This change is necessary because of changes to our overall curriculum, and the structure of the minor continues to parallel the structure of the major.
