APC Document 88:                                              Increase credit hours available for Special Topics Courses in Language (LANG) and Literature (LIT)


Effective Date: Fall 2011

 

1. Delete:    On p. 188, the title and description for Special Topics in Language

Impact:

Impact will be minimal. Departmental resources are adequate to cover any increase in the credit hours assigned to a Special topics course.

               

Rationale:

The current course description limits the number of credit hours we can award for a special topics course to three. Increasing this number will allow us to pilot some new courses we have designed for our curricular revision.
