APC Document 64: Replace POLS 334 and 335 with POLS 235 as an

option in the Legal Studies Minor

Effective Date: Fall 2009

1. Delete: On page 178, in the Minor in Legal Studies, under “At least 6 hours…law in society”

POLS 334 Political Foundations of Law (3)

Add: On page 178, in place of deleted entry:

POLS 235 Introduction to Law (3)

2. Delete: On page 179, under “At least 6 hours…law and legal issues”

POLS 335 Law, Ethics, and Public Policy (3)

Impact:

Minimal. Students have other courses from which to choose to satisfy the LEGL minor.

Rationale:

Editorial resulting from replacing two upper-level law courses with an introductory course.
