APC Document 40: Editorial changes in the
Concentration in Classical Studies
Effective Date: Fall

1. Delete: On page 102, under
Concentration in Classical Studies, in item I:
I.
Required courses in the major – 36 hours, including either
CLAS 211 or 212; 314, 495.
Add: On page 102, in place of deleted entry:
I.
Required courses in the major – 36 hours, including either
CLAS 211 or 212; CLAS 315 or 316, 495.
Impact:
CLAS
314 (Greek and Roman Art) no longer exists, and 315 and 316 are its
replacements.
Rationale:
This
emendation is necessary to make clear to Classical Studies majors that either
Greek or Roman Art will satisfy their degree requirements.
