Statement
of Faculty Senate Action:
Sense of the Senate Resolution
It is the sense of the Senate that
the Vice Chancellor for Alumni and Development report annually on the status of
academically related non-departmental "specialty funds." These
include the Highsmith Visiting Scholar Fund, Ruth and Leon Feldman Professor
Fund, Ruth Feldman Outstanding Scholar Award Fund, Ruth and Leon Feldman
Endowment Fund, UNC Asheville Foundation Adjunct Faculty Fund, as well as other
funds that may now or in the future be contained in this category.
