Statement of Faculty Senate Action:

APC Document 1: Change the frequency of offerings for MATH 191 and 480

Effective Date: Fall 2008

1. Add: On page 197, at the end of the description for MATH 191:

Fall and Spring.

Impact: None.

Rationale: This was mistakenly left off the change made to last year's description.

2. Delete: On page 199, the semester in which MATH 480 is offered:

Spring.

Add : On page 199, in place of deleted entry:

Fall and Spring.

Impact: There will be little impact. Because of high demand for this course, we have been offering it both semesters for the past two years.

Rationale: MATH 480 is our senior capstone course. With the number of majors in math increasing, we need to offer this course more frequently.
